NBC's Deception: 'Tell Me' recap

In the newest episode of 'Deception' Joanna's cover might be blown, the audience learns something new about Sophia, Julian gets down and dirty, and Mia might meet her father for the first time.

This week everyone seems to be getting exposed. Last night the audience learned that Sophia was once a "red-neck in love." The man that she had feeling for is now in jail and was introduced to Robert by non other than Senator Dwight Haverstock.

Now remember the noisy journalist who published the story on Mia and her real birth mom? Well she is back in the picture but this time due to an anonymous tip source she is going after Joanna. The worst thing about this encounter is that she choices the worst possible time to question our beloved undercover agent. The gossip columnist decides to question Joanna is a Russian bakery, but it also happens to be Russian mafia territory. (Yes, where won't this show go I ask you?) It looks as if Joanna is done for until her partner Will Moreno shows up and takes the bad guys down and out for the count.

Mia is still trying to coup with the lose of Vivian and still dealing with her parents lying about her entire life. She gets in a quarrel with Sophia about finding out who her real father is. So Mia being the girl she is decides to throw a party at her house because her fake parents as she calls them will be out for the night for a black tie and grown gala. However it is at this party that Dwight Haverstock shows up and tells Mia that he is her real father. The only thing Mia asks is did he lover her mother.

The men of the Bower's clan are dealing with the family pharmaceutical drug in a different manner. Julian, under Robert's orders, is sent to bride one of the head people to make sure it gets on the shelf. While Edward on the other hand is making sure that his family is heading to California as he digs up more secrets about the family drug. While searching the information he discovers confirms that Vivian was right all along. The drug, Lyritrol, has the potential to hurt patients, and 24 of the 27 of the test subjects were children. Once the gala party was started Edward and Julian got in a scuffle which lead to Edward declaring he was done with the family.
