NBC's 'Community' season 3: death comes knocking?

While the future for "Community" after this season is now particularly clear, it does appear as though there will be someone related to the show who will not see the light of day beyond season 3.

Speaking per TV Guide, series star Joel McHale confirms that a character who is a fixture on the show will not be around for too much longer:

"A character from the show will die ... [although it is probably not a lead, it is] someone you've seen a lot. And he dies in the mid-afternoon."

It's already speculated that this person could be Leonard due to his age, but other possibilities seem to include everyone from Starburns to Magnitude to even the monkey named for a certain part of Annie's anatomy.

Let this be one more mystery that will resolved this spring, as we are still waiting to find out when the show is returning to NBC following a lengthy hiatus.
