NBC's 'Community' season 3: 'Daily Show' vet John Hodgman cast

"Community" fans have one more reason to get excited -- show creator has just made one of his casting dreams a reality.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Hodgman of "The Daily Show" (not to mention the famous "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercials) has been brought on board for an upcoming storyline later in the season. However, it has yet to be revealed just who the actor will be playing on the show.

Just as mysterious at the moment is the return date for the NBC comedy -- the numbers for "30 Rock" have mor or less shown that the timeslot was really the problem for "Community" more than the show itself.

What do you think about this casting?
