NBC's 'Chuck': Yvonne Strahovski, Adam Baldwin 'optimistic' about renewal

It's that time of the year for "Chuck," and it's something most fans are probably quite faccustomed to by now -- sitting around and waiting to hear whether or not the show has been picked up for yet another year.

So what's the latest verdict? Even though we have not heard anything official just yet, two of the show's principal stars are at least hopeful that there will be a season five at the end of all this drama. Speaking to E! Online, Yvonne Strahovski is the first person to speak about the show's chances:

"I think [the chances] are pretty good. I will be surprised if we don't get a season five."

Meanwhile, Adam Baldwin seems to echo a similar sentiment:

"I feel cautiously optimistic. Until you hear the go sign, I just remain cautiously optimistic."

As of right now, the future for "Chuck" is actually going to depend on the success of other shows. Although its 1.9 rating in the adults 18-49 demo is not great, it is easily better than either "The Cape" or "The Event" -- even though the demo rating for "Harry's Law" is about the same, the amount of overall viewers may save it for the sake of good PR.
