It looks like for its final season, "Chuck" is going to take a cue from one of the most-popular action series of all time.
According to a new report from TVLine, legendary "Charlie's Angels" star Cheryl Ladd has been cast to play the character of Sarah Walter's mother -- something that had plenty of fans buzzing earlier this fall. The two characters have not seen each other for five years, and that they apparently have some sort of complicated history. (This must be true, especially when you consider that we haven't heard much from the character for the first two seasons.)
Ladd will make her appearance during the eighth episode of the show's final season, which is set to air this January. Meanwhile, the remake of "Charlie's Angels" for ABC is ultimately going to be lucky to last this long.
