NBC's 'Chuck': Joshua Gomez to test out pilot season after series finale

While a number of "Chuck" stars (in particular Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski) are interested in trying to make an impact in the film world moving forward from the show's series finale Friday night, one of the other actors from the Buy More community is looking to get back into TV rather soon.

Speaking to TV Guide, Joshua Gomez (who we have come to know as Morgan Grimes) claims that he will at least survey the landscape to see if there is another project that he could fit with for the upcoming TV season:

"I'm gonna test [pilot season] out. We'll see. I'm going to see if there's something I really like. That's the cool thing, I don't really have to immediately go, 'I got me a job!' That's the beauty of doing five years on a show is that I get to kind of go, 'Oh, OK. Cool,' and play this out and see if there's anything that comes along. I'd like to do something different, obviously... But I have my own stuff that I've done that I went out and shot this summer. I did a pilot with my brother, so we'll kind of shop that around once it's finished. We're editing that right now."

The good news for "Chuck" is that with production of their show ending late last year, any and all members of the cast have had an opportunity to seek other television work for the upcoming fall season if they so want -- but for the time being, there have not been any future casting announcements outside of a small arc Ryan McPartlin is doing on "CSI: Miami."

What sort of roles would you want to see some of the actors doing next?
