NBC's 'Chuck': changes in store for Adam Baldwin's Casey

Have you noticed that John Casey has had a little bit less to do on "Chuck" these days? Over the course of this past episode he was barely present, and ever since Chuck's mother was saved he's been mostly relegated to thinking about telling Alex's mom about his existence.

However,a ll of that is about to change -- and like with Chuck and Sarah, there are some major changes coming for Adam Baldwin's character. (Warning: the following contains spoilers.)

According to TV Guide, Casey is going to be persuaded to join up with a new spy team by Robin Givens' character of Bentley, who has a rather unique role herself within the government. Here is what Givens has to say about what is coming up:

"She presents [Casey] with things he knows are true: This has been your longest assignment; your team doesn't need you anymore. You were the best sharpshooter and now you're bartending; you're doing paperwork. So she presents him with an offer that he can't say no to."

As for his new team, Stacy Keibler and "Old Spice Man" Isaiah Mustafa -- who were both on the show as "Gretas" earlier this season -- will return with actual names.

Do you think that change is good for Casey, or you hoping this is just a one-week thing for the character?

Adam is too talented to be wasted the way he is at the moment. Its time Casey was featured at least as much as Chuck and Sarah. I agree that lately he's been portrayed as dowdy and bumbling-not the spy we were originally introduced to. Its nice to see the character development in terms of relationships/feelings, but not at the expense of the action and intelligent moves the character is capable of.

Casey is the most entertaining yet stable part of that show. He makes every scene funny and is always in Casey character. We love him and would hate for him to leave Chuck & Sarah. They work so well together on screen (insert Casey grunt....lol)
