This past week NBC ditched the Style Network and turned it into Esquire for men. Fans of the Style Network are confused and angry. No one knows the fate of their favorite Style Network programming. As of now it has been said that some of the Style Network programming will find a new home on other NBC stations including Bravo and Oxygen.

'Jerseylicious' is a reality soap opera that featured the beauty industry. The show led to a couple spin offs including 'The Glam Fairy.' Despite rumors on the internet that most of the show is staged it developed a loyal fan base. Fans of Jerseylicious were looking forward to a new season that would start this month. As of now no one knows if Jerseylicious will air. Another blow to Style Network fans is that as of now there is no home for 'Big Rich Texas' which was a fun look at the glamorous country club life. Cast member Whitney had a baby and the Style Network promised a show centered around Whitney and her family. As of now the fate of Big Rich Texas remains in limbo.

This is not the first blow that NBC delivered over the past year. NBC was home to the very glamorous 'Smash.' Smash delivered powerhouse talent including Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee and Christian Borle. While not everyone can afford to see Broadway shows Smash gave its fans a little piece of Broadway to take home. Many believe that NBC killed the show by moving it around so many times that it was hard to find. Smash lost a prime time slot for a reality show about love that lasted two weeks. Despite petitions and protests Smash was cancelled.

The end of the Style Network has been a disappointment to many. NBC did not give any warning there were plans to cancel the network and its programming. Many people feel that NBC does not care about what the people want. NBC has also proven to be irresponsible by airing a TV show called 'Under the Wild Skies.' This show showcased a hunter named Tony Makris who shot an elephant in the face twice on camera. NBC ditched the program after backlash as well as comments made by Makris comparing people who criticized him to Hitler.

How do you feel about NBC's recent decisions? Which Style Network shows will you miss?
