NBC just announced today, May 9, that "Community" will be cancelled without six seasons and a movie, instead it will be only five seasons. But, will Abed's prediction come true? Will a meteor hitting the earth being the ending of "Community"?
So, it has not been confirmed yet that the April 17 season finale is it's last show. Can fans only hope a television movie to tie up all lose ends?
But, while NBC was cancelling "Community" it was also busy renewing other television shows for the 2014-2015 television season. NBC renewed "Hannibal" for a third season and "About a Boy" for season two.
But, NBC has been loyal to its strong consistent show, "Law and Order: SUV" and will renew it for a whopping sixteenth season. "Law and Order: SVU" has been a steady show for the station that seems to be waning in the views. They have also renewed "Parks and Recreation", "Grimm", "The Blacklist", "Chicago Fire", and "Chicago PD".
Will "Community" fans try to rally again like they did before and save the series? Will they try to get Sony to get another television station to pick them up? The rally cry of six seasons and a movie simply can't die like this! Come on folks let's see if we can save "Community" for at least one more season!
What do you think? Should we try and save "Community"?
