NBC adds a medical twist to Jekyll and Hyde with Do No Harm

Over the years the medical drama has been one that seems to churn out almost as many variations as crime dramas. Typically they are pretty straight forward, but NBC has been taking steps to make some new twists to freshen them up. Previously they had their Saving Hope series which added a bit of the supernatural too it, but now they are taking the classic Jekyll and Hyde story and giving it the modern twist with Do No Harm.

The series follows a successful neurosurgeon who switches personalities at 8:25pm every night. He has been able to hide his split personality using a strong pharmaceutical mixture, but that’s no longer the case. With this twisted personality determined to throw obstacles in his path it could cost him his life, romance, and career.

The series stars Steven Pasquale, Alana de la Garza, Ruta Gedmintas, Phylicia Rashad, Michael Esper, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Carroll Lynch and Sam Levine.
