NBAF Fall for Film Series

As part of their ongoing commitment to impart knowledge, awareness, and understanding while also encouraging the development of critical thinking skills as it relates to the cultures that comprise the African Diaspora, the National Black Arts Festival (NBAF) is on a mission to bring relevancy to the community on a year-round basis through their educational programs.

The NBAF is also passionate about the cultivation and preservation of the arts. They provide opportunities for creative expression to flow through artist showcases, literary readings, poetry, music, dance, art, and film.

The NBAF is proud to present the Fall for Film Series beginning Friday, September 30, 2011 through Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Southwest Arts Center, 915 New Hope Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30331.

Friday, September 30, 2011: The First Grader – 7:30 pm

Saturday, October 1, 2011: Africa United – 12:00 pm; Louder than a Bomb – 2:00 pm; Daughters of the Wind – 4:10 pm

Sunday, October 2, 2011: Africa Unite: A Celebration of Bob Marley’s 60th Birthday
