NBA: Wizards continue impressive run with 112-108 victory over Nuggets

The Washington Wizards have been a different team in the last few weeks as they have once again finished off another impressive performance with a 112-108 victory over the Western Conference power house Denver Nuggets on Jan. 18, 2013.

Washington's win sees them notched their fourth in five games that included a streak opening 100-99 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since then they have defeated the Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic and lost 95-94 to the Sacramento Kings before this bounce back against the Nuggets on the road.

The Wizards shot 51.3 percent from the field and 48 percent from behind the three point line in their run to victory. With Bradley Beal leading the way with 23 points, a complete team effort saw five players in double figures and substitute Kevin Seraphin continued his impressive form as of late with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Denver were by no means slack as a 29 point and six assist night from Ty Lawson saw his team get close but the Wizards were just too sharp on the night as they claimed an important victory that is likely to help them continue to push up the Eastern Conference standings.
