The Memphis Grizzlies continue to shop high priced Rudy Gay to the rest of the NBA. According to ESPN's Marc Stein on Jan. 29, 2013, reports are that he is being tracked in a potential deal with the Toronto Raptors.
Gay has been linked all over the NBA with the initial trade rumors having him heading to the Washington Wizards or the Atlanta Hawks. Subsequently more talk ensued that he might potentially join the Los Angeles Lakers or the Boston Celtics.
Even the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Brooklyn Nets have been reportedly linked with a move for the player. However, it appears that the Raptors are now believed the currently most likely landing place for the player.
Stein believes that there is a chance this potential deal could involve more than just the Grizzlies and the Raptors if talks progress in the right direction. Kyle Lowry is one of the names believed to be potentially involved but there are no concrete details to this point.
