The Dallas Mavericks have money to burn before the February trade deadline and according to IBTimes Sports as of Jan. 18. 2013. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban plans on making some moves before time is up as long as they do not involve club superstar Dirk Nowitzki.
Nowitzki has been frustrated this season so far having some of his worst career performances, but the club seem to be finally moving in the right direction having won three of their last four games including their latest victory over the Houston Rockets.
Atlanta star Josh Smith could be a potential option for the team as he has been but on the trading block by General Manager Danny Ferry, and the team could also be in for hopefully return former Trail Blazer Greg Oden whom has been linked to both the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.
Reports are claiming that Chris Kaman could be the first to go when the Mavericks finalize a deal, but there is yet to anything concrete to happen.
