The Boston Celtics have one of the best back courts in the NBA with the likes of Jason Terry, Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and Courtney Lee. However, they have another guard by the name of Leando Barbosa that has finally appeared to have had enough according to an interview with ESPN Brazil on Jan. 17, 2013.
This season Barbosa has been the one left out as he only averages just over 10 minutes per game with 30 appearances all season. He has only started once all year and the 30-year-old is hoping to secure a move to a club where he can have a more prominent role as he starts to enter the prime years of his career.
He continues to average career lows in all categories with his limited playing time. A career average 12.2 points per game guard, he is only at the 4.5 points per game this season, while his assists average is down from 2.4 to 1.2 and his rebounds from 2.2 to 0.8.
Boston are likely to deal him before the trade deadline in late February, but there is yet to be known interest for the player as his limited court time is certain to hamper any major move for the Brazilian guard.
