As the NBA trade deadline nears, veteran guard Andre Miller is on the move. According to USA TODAY Sports on Feb. 20, the Denver Nuggets have sent Miller to the Wizards.

In a three-team deal, the Nuggets will get Jan Vesely from the Wizards and the Philadelphia 76ers, a team involved in an earlier deal, will get guard Eric Maynor and two second round picks from the Wizards.

The move gives the Wizards the backup point guard that they have been in search of with the disappointing season of Maynor. It also frees Miller of his situation in Denver, as he has seen his playing time reduced since a verbal altercation with coach Brian Shaw.

Miller adds experience to a young Wizards team making a push for the playoffs. In Vesely, the Nuggets are getting another big body that can help them on the boards. The 76ers have added two more picks as they continue to stock pile draft picks for perhaps future moves to improve the team.

The Nuggets have been actively shopping Andre Miller since the altercation.
