The NBA All-Star Saturday schedule 2013 brings a total of four big events to television for All-Star Weekend 2013. The one many fans are asking about involves the aerial acrobatics put on display by some of the league's brightest dunkers in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest 2013. This one will be televised and live streaming along with the other pro basketball events. So what time is the Slam Dunk Contest tonight and who are the latest participants?
The NBA Dunk Contest live stream coverage is presented via NBA on TNTOvertime, a special web service that presents unique camera angles and perspectives of the basketball games, and in this case, the skills events. The Slam Dunk contest is among the four competitions tonight beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST, televised on TNT nationally, so being able to see it live online will be a great service for those without a TV to watch it on.
A report from SB Nation on Feb. 16 predicts the start time for the dunk contest should come around 9:30-10 p.m. EST, but it could be later depending on how other events proceed. Three events proceed the contest including the Three-Point Shootout and Skills Challenge, with stars like Kyrie Irving, Tony Parker, and many more competing.
Among those participating in this year's Slam Dunk Contest are the 2012 winner, Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz. There's also Gerald Green of the Pacers, James "Flight" White of the NY Knicks, and Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors. Western Conference competitors include Eric Bledsoe of the LA Clippers and Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets. Faried took home the MVP award in Friday's BBVA Rising Stars Challenge game and will look to add another trophy tonight.
To watch the NBA dunk contest live streaming tonight, fans will want to head over to TNTOvertime. For televised coverage, viewers can check out TNT beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST, with the dunk contest taking place after three other events, possibly after 9:30 or 10 p.m. EST. Roanoke viewers can see it on channel 58 via Cox Cable for TNT.
