Sunday’s 2014 NBA playoffs action concludes with a battle out west between the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers on TNT Sports (TV broadcast) and TNT Overtime (free online live stream). NBA.com’s Anne Peterson reported on April 26 that Moda Center at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Ore., will host Game 4 tonight beginning at 9:40 p.m. ET (8:40 p.m. CT/7:40 p.m. MT/6:40 p.m. PT).

The fourth-seeded Rockets come in trying to regain home-court advantage, which they would accomplish with a win over the Trail Blazers, the No. 5 team in the Western Conference. Torched by a sizzling LaMarcus Aldridge, Houston fell into an 0-2 hole in this best-of-seven series.

And while Dwight Howard and the Rockets were finally able to get on the board with a win Friday night, as an April 26 SBN report indicates, Houston still has plenty of “problems”. After relinquishing a nine-point lead in the final stanza, the Rockets were on the brink of another humiliating loss before finally pulling away with a 121-116 overtime win.

For the fifth-seeded Trail Blazers, a Miami Herald report indicates that history is still on their side with a 2-1 lead. As a matter of fact, statistically, only three teams in NBA history have been able to come all the way back after being down 0-2 (both home loses) to win a seven-game series. Furthermore, Portland is undefeated after getting off to a 2-0 lead in an NBA playoff series.

Coincidentally, NBA oddsmakers agree, listing the (2-1) Portland Trail Blazers [-3] as three-point favorites against the (1-2) Houston Rockets [+3] in the ATS department tonight. The OVER/UNDER for Game 4 is set at a combined total of 215 points, and (straight-up) betting lines go as follows: Road team [+145] vs. Home team [-165].
