NBA: OKC Thunder win fourth straight with 102-90 road victory over the Suns

The defending NBA Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder maintained their lead at the top of the conference this season with a fourth straight win thanks to a 102-90 road victory over the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 14, 2013.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both had dominate performances according to the ESPN box score. Durant with 41 points, five rebounds and two blocks while Westbrook added 36 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Kevin Martin also made the most of his game time scoring 12 points off the bench in effort to help see the Thunder to a 30-9 record overall.

The Suns only had eight players involved on the night in a tricky game that saw Marcin Gortat lead the team with a double double of 19 points and 11 rebounds while Shannon Brown lead the team in scoring with 21 points.

OKC will now look to maintain their place at the top of the Western Conference standings heading towards the All-Star Break as their four game win streak has seen them open up only a game advantage over the surging LA Clippers.
