NBA legend Michael Jordan is the proud poppa of identical twin daughters according to a report by the Associated Press on Feb. 12.

Jordan’s wife, Yvette Jordan, gave birth to Victoria and Ysabel on Sunday (Feb. 10) in West Palm Beach, Fla. Jordan’s spokeswoman, Estee Portnoy said, “Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival.

It has been a joyous year for the couple. They married back in 2013 in Palm Beach, Fla. after dating for six years. Almost a year later they are the happy parents of identical twins.

Jordan, who turns 51 next Monday, has kept busy since he retired from the NBA. He is the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, an NBA franchise that is steadily improving, and there has also been rumors about Michael Jordan stepping back on the court.

As a new father of twins, Jordan will definitely have no problem staying in shape. Jordan has three children from his previous marriage and now has a total of five.

The former NBA superstar has won six NBA championships over the span of his career and has been the league MVP five times.
