Lance Stephenson, the University of Cincinnati star that left college after only one season, was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 40th overall pick in the NBA Draft Thursday night.
Stephenson was projected by many to possibly be selected in the mid-to-late first round, but slid after some questioned his maturity and readiness, though no one second-guessed his skills.
Ironically, Stephen will join fellow Lincoln High School alum Sebastian Telfair in Indianapolis. Stephenson eclipsed all of Telfair's previous scoring records for New York City basketball on his way to becoming the top high school player in NYC history. Both Telfair and Stephenson are high school legends with huge potential.
So now that we know where Stephenson landed, was his jump to the NBA worth the risk?
