NBA: Carlos Boozer leads Bulls over Hawks in dominating 58-97 win (Photos)

The Chicago Bulls got back on the winning trail in the NBA's Eastern Conference with an absolute dominating 58-97 victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Jan. 14, 2013.

Carlos Boozer lead the Bulls with 20 points and 13 rebounds while Luol Deng added 18 points while shooting 75% percent from the floor going 9 for 12. The two leading scorers for the Bulls along nearly outscored the entire Atlanta Hawks squad according to the ESPN box score.

Only Mike Scott, who came off the bench for the Hawks, managed to reach double digits in scoring for the visiting side with 10 points in just 16 minutes of time on the court making many wonder why he wasn't preferred in the starting five as opposed to a third guard.

The Bulls now are three and a half games back from the Miami Heat and maintain a place anchoring the top five of the conference in fifth. Meanwhile despite the embarrassing loss the Hawks are just behind the Bulls in sixth as they are still set on making the playoffs.
