The NBA All-Star live stream and TV coverage for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2014 arrives live on Friday night for sports (and celebrity) fans to enjoy. Among the celebs who will try to show their skills off on the hardwood in New Orleans will be comedian Kevin Hart, actor/musician Nick Cannon and several current or former "real life" basketball players. The latest televised and live stream NBA All-Star coverage arrives courtesy of ESPN sources.
The Soaring Down South site reports as of Feb. 14 that tonight’s game tips off at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and is sponsored by Sprint. Michael Jordan will be among the stars in the game, but not the “MJ” many are thinking of, as it will be actor Michael B. Jordan from “That Awkward Moment,” a movie out just in time for Valentine’s Day. Other celebs joining in on the fun including Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon and Jesse Williams from “Grey’s Anatomy.”
ESPN’s Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic will both participate, as will ESPN anchor Stan Verrett and NBA Analyst Bruce Bowen. Skylar Diggins and Elena Delle Donne of the WNBA will be on the court, along with Victoria’s Secret model and actress Erin Heatherton. Heatherton recently retweeted a message posted on Twitter via Vanessa Gringer, who is Senior Director of Business Development at IMG. The tweet, hyping the game, provides a Valentine’s-style promotion for the model's fans:
“No V-Day plans? Be @erinheatherton Valentine & watch her play in this year's All-Star Celebrity Game…”
Filling out the remaining roster spots will be United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, “Scandal” actor Columbus Short, “E! News” anchor Terrence Jenkins and Kristen Ledlow of “NBA Inside Stuff.” One would have to think that one of the WNBA stars or former NBA player Bruce Bowen could snag MVP tonight, although Nick Cannon could sneak in there with his skills on the hardwood. Last year's MVP, the hilarious Kevin Hart, will at least provide comedic relief as he often does in these particular games ahead of the “real deal” events for the rest of the All-Star Weekend 2014.
Tonight's NBA All-Star Celebrity Game has a start time scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Fans can watch the televised coverage on cable or satellite via ESPN. In addition, participating cable and satellite companies will allow their viewers to log in and watch the event live streaming online at WatchESPN. See more details here at the official broadband sports network of ESPN to find out how to watch tonight's event live stream.
