The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed their rating summary for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “NBA 2K14.” According to a listing update from the website of the organization on Aug. 26, the latest installment from the “NBA 2K” series received an “Everyone” rating with no contents descriptors listed. This is a basketball simulation game in which players can select teams from real NBA rosters, customize players, compete in tournaments, and play through regular seasons. Players can also manage individual franchises and control the careers of real-world athletes.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board also mentioned that “NBA 2K14” also has online features that may contain online user-generated contents that can’t be rated. This year’s edition of the gaming franchise features several online gameplay modes, including “The Crew.”
Only the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of “NBA 2K14” have been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board so far. The video game will be launching for the three aforesaid platforms on Oct. 1.
“NBA 2K14” is also the first installment of the series to appear on the next-generation systems. The PS4 version will be released alongside Sony’s new console on Nov. 15.
