Ronnie Singh has posted several updates in regards several ongoing issues with the PS4 and Xbox One versions of “NBA 2K14.” According to a report from Softpedia on Jan. 6, the digital marketing director at 2K Sports disclosed that the development team has released a hot fix to a server issue from “The Park” mode of the basketball simulation title. The patch is applied automatically and won’t have to be downloaded through the Playstation Network and Xbox Live.

Furthermore, the studio at Visual Concepts is also still working on glitches from the Xbox One iteration in which players are being sent back to the dashboard of the system while playing through the My Career and My GM modes. Ronnie Singh did not provide a time frame as to when the glitches will be addressed.

The Visual Concepts development team worked on the PS4 and Xbox One for the first time with “NBA 2K14.” As a result, the next-generation versions may have suffered some growing pains as the staff members tried to learn about the new hardware architecture while working on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions at the same time.

The basketball simulation title came out last year on Nov. 15 for the PS4 in addition to Nov. 22 for the Xbox One. Some screens from “NBA 2K14” can be found in the slideshow to the left of this article.
