The Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey wedding news came as a big shock to “Glee” fans on Wednesday. Though the actress and singer had split from former fiance Big Sean only three months ago, it seems she found what she was looking for in an old friend. People shared the details on July 23.

The early part of 2014 was a rocky one for Rivera, that much is clear. There have been reports of drama on the “Glee” set, particularly between Naya and Lea Michele, and there had even been buzz that Rivera had been fired. She had a rocky split from Big Sean, but it seems she soon realized love was right in front of her.

Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey's wedding took place over the weekend in Cabo San Lucas. They had just a small group of close family members there to celebrate. Rivera told People, “Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for.”

It seems that Naya and Ryan first met four years ago and have been friends ever since. After Rivera's April split from Big Sean, romance blossomed with Ryan. They told People, “True love always prevails.”

Rivera wore a Monique Lhuillier gown and Dorsey donned a Dolce & Gabbana suit. They exchanged Neil Lane rings, and they are now back in Los Angeles. Most “Glee” fans aren't familiar with Ryan, though he is in the industry as well. His IMDb page shows that he has appeared in a number of shows over the past few years, including “Southland,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Mob City.” It seems he also has several projects in the works right now.

“Glee” returns for a shortened final season on Fox this fall, and fans know that Naya has been working on her music career as well. Here's hoping she has found happiness and peace and can put the drama she was dealing with earlier this year behind her. Congratulations to Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey on the wedding!
