It's NAWBO San Diego's mission to propel women entrepreneurs into higher economic, social and political spheres of power. Through monthly breakfast meetings, the organization provides educational information, networking opportunities, business tools and resources helping women to grow their business.
The first monthly breakfast meeting for 2014 will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at a new location: the Council for Supplier Diversity in Mira Mesa. This meeting will feature NAWBO San Diego sponsors and Board members in a roundtable discussion focusing on growing a business and the benefits of NAWBO membership. In particular, members of the Board will discuss NAWBO member benefits in detail, and several members will present testimonials noting how NAWBO membership helped propel their businesses to success. This will be a particularly invaluable meeting for those contemplating NAWBO membership.
At this meeting, you'll learn:
- The value of customer development
- How to generate contracts
- Business financing and expansion
- How to convert networking leads into business opportunities
- How to use NAWBO membership to enhance the success of your business
Registration for this limited-seating event is available at nawbo-sd.org through 5 p.m. on Jan. 20. Members pay $20, while the fee for visitors is $35.
