As a monk for eleven years sponsored by the Dali Lama which also included being a hermit meditator for four years, Tibetan flautist Nawan Kjechog’ sacred music teaches peace and the power of healing. He is a self-taught musician who’s music expresses itself through emotions and his life. He has made enchanted music with Kitaro, Paul Simon, Natalie Merchant, Laurie Anderson and Phish on tour in Japan. Khechong has spent thirty years living in India in refuge from Tibet and now lives in Colorado.
