Navy SEAL burned after returning from Afghanistan

A Navy SEAL returning home from Afghanistan and his friend suffered serious burns from an explosion that occurred at a homecoming party on Friday night.

Navy SEAL Pasquale Troisi 31-year-old, will be in a medically induced coma for three weeks and is expected to remain at Temple University Hospital for three months. He suffered burns over 77% of his body.

26-year-old Stephen Klink, Pasquale’s friend, suffered injuries while trying to extinguish the flames that ignited the SEALs body.

The two were standing in front of freestanding front-loading fireplace which erupted and exploded at the party setting Pasquale on fire. Earlier someone had poured gasoline onto the fire to get the wet logs to burn said investigators.

Troisi had just returned to his hometown of Warminster PA on Thrusday after a tour in Afghanistan.
