Festivals are a great way to experience live music. It’s about the fans from all over coming together for one common reason - the music. For seasoned festival goer’s they know what to expect. There are multiple stages and the vendor row where you can score your must have swag and souvenirs . Then there is the food and beer tents - a must for all-day events. But for those who are new to this experience, it can be overwhelming. So, here are a few tips and the lay of the land for the first “Worlds Loudest Month” festival...”Welcome to Rockville”.

Monster Energy’s “Welcome to Rockville" calls Metropolitan Park (in Jacksonville, FL) home. Nestled along the St. John River, this scenic landscape will be transformed into ground zero for music lovers all over. This two day festival hosts iconic bands that include Avenged Sevenfold, The Cult, Rob Zombie, VOLBEAT, Gemini Syndrome, Motionless in White, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, A Day To Remember and many more. Cheers to this and all the Worlds Loudest Month festivals that features must see nationals (the biggest names in rock) on the road to 6 different venues across the country in a 5 week road-trip.

Here is a quick list of where to be for the headliners of Welcome To Rockville. Saturday April 26th on the Monster Energy Fire Museum Stage you can see Hellyeah, Chevelle, A Day To Remember and Avenged Sevenfold throughout the day. Monster Energy’s Metropolitan Park Stage includes: Gemini Syndrome, Alter Bridge, The Cult and more . The Jagermeister Stage will have: World Gone, Silver Tung, Smile Empty Soul, Memphis May Fire, We Came As Romans, and more . The Ernie Ball Stage will host We As Human, Devour The Day, Fozzy and others .

If that is not enough for you, Sunday April 27th will end the festival on a high note. Kicking off the day at The Monster Energy Fire Museum Stage is Sick Puppies, Black Label Society, Seether, Fiver Finger Death Punch, and Korn headlining. On the Monster Energy Metropolitan Park Stage The Pretty Reckless, Theory of a Deadman, Staind, Rob Zombie and more will be killing it. Hitting the Jagermeister Stage will be Ghost of War, Lacuna Coil, Emmure, Motionless in White, Nothing More, Butcher Babies, Trivium and more.

So you have a list of the stages and some of the major bands playing them......all you need now is sun block and bail money . I left out times because they’re subject to change. Make sure to check the set times to see when your favorite bands are playing!

By the time Monday morning hits you should be nice and crispy from the sun, loaded up with rock swag, and still filled with all the festival joy and madness. If you are lacking in the swag department before the weekend starts, swing by The Rock ‘n Roll GangStar Apparel booth where you‘ll get Rock 'n Roll fashion at awesome prices. You’ll look and feel like a Rock Star! While you’re there, pick up the newest Rockin’ print magazine taking the music world by storm - ROCKwell UnScene MUSIC Magazine - and pick up a card for a FREE yearly digital subscription of the magazine ($20 Value).

A festival like this is nothing short of a Rock ‘n Roll fantasy come true. It wouldn’t be possible without Monster Energy and the many other sponsors and vendors at the events. Most importantly, it could not happen without the fans so give yourself horns up for supporting the music!
