Nature Night Friday at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is hosting Nature Nights Friday May 20 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Nature Nights offers individuals and families the opportunity to observe and learn about plants and animal life and the ecology of Central Texas. The programs are supported by volunteers of Capital Area Master Naturalist.

Friday will feature the program Butterflies and Moths. Learn how these winged insects behave and what they eat, create a butterfly mask and enjoy a walk in the Butterfly Garden led by staff Gardener Samantha Elkinton and volunteer experts. Lucas Miller will provide entertainment from 7:30pm to 8:00pm. Butterfly Bikes from the Austin Bike Zoo will make an appearance from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Austin Butterfly Forum will present a live butterfly exhibit.
