Nature Ed-Ventures are coming to Highlands Ranch this fall

Spooky stories, turkey fun facts and critter tracks are just a sample of what kids and families will hear about during the Highlands Ranch Metro District’s fall Nature Ed-Venture programs. Four programs are offered between October and December that will take kids and families alike on new Ed-Ventures each time.

Nature Ed-Ventures is the new name of the Metro District’s nature programs offered for kids and families. The program was previously called Environmental Education Programs. Metro District park rangers lead participants on different Ed-Ventures throughout the year designed to generate excitement and interest in nature.

Fall programs include:

Freaky Friday, Oct. 28 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Kids ages 6 to 11 will listen to scary stories, learn about nocturnal creatures, take a night hike and decorate their own trick-or-treat bags. Kids can come in costume if they like.
