Do you ever wonder what is going on outside in the darkness? What animals are active? What is happening up in our sky? Join the Prairieview Education Center for educational activities about nocturnal animals and explore the night sky.

Look and listen for creatures of the night on guided walks for families and adults. The event also includes storytelling, hot chocolate, a campfire and more.

The Northwest Suburban Astronomers will share their telescopes. Children’s activities provided by McHenry County Schools Environmental Education Program (MCSEEP). Learn about bats with the Flying Fox Conservation Fund's live fruit bat. McHenry County Audubon will share information about birds of the night.
