Lemongrass tea is a wonderful vitamin-packed herb. Not only does it smell great but this tropical plant aids those who suffer from pain and fever or who have an upset stomach. Lemongrass also helps take care of muscle tension and has recently been found to fight cancer cells naturally. Sachets made of lemongrass can be located in supermarkets, although brewing a tea from fresh leaves is a better way of getting the fresh flavor and healing ingredients. Some supermarket’s have the herb in the fresh herb sections.

Now those rose buds that have died off on your rose bushes can be of use! Rose hip tea is a common element of the market teas. The sourness of tea is often associated with the rose hips that are in the mixture. Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is naturally taken from rose hips. The antiviral properties of licorice have some Western researchers believing that the tea is good for you and so is consuming the candy.

Valerian tea is a nasty tasting tea but most users swear by it in helping calm nerves and as an aid in helping them sleep. Valerian is traditionally incorporated into other sleep-inducing herbs such as passionflower and chamomile. The root of the plant is used as a tea to reap the benefits of this amazing plant without worrying about the addition of sleeping aids on the market. Consult a doctor before using, as it is like the licorice root and can cause bad interactions with medications you may take.

Tea, in general, can make someone suffering from flu and cold symptoms or suffering from a stomach ache feel better. These natural herbs help with these symptoms without having to worry about the chemical-based medications on the market. Please consult your physician should you decide to consume licorice root or Valerian tea if you are on any medications now.
