The non-profit organization called, “Native American Voters Alliance” (NAVA) is located at Albuquerque, N.M. They will have a meeting called, “Building a Native American Women's Alliance Agenda” on Thursday Sept. 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. It will take place at the NAVA office on “3415 Carlisle Blvd NE” in the city of Albuquerque. According to the email flyer NAVA says, “Join us as we convene Native American women to identify issues important to our families and communities.”

The NAVA organization held a “Back to School Community Prayer & Blessing” last Aug. 18, 2013 at Graves Park. It was to give Native students plus their families a positive reinforcement as they head back to school. NAVA held a BBQ picnic & included games plus a Disk Jockey.
NAVA says in the most recent email flyer that - “We realize that during this time of the Government Sequester, significant changes to healthcare and the recent veto of the minimum wage increase, times are tough! Yet we can't allow our families to suffer in silence. We need to meet one another and begin to talk about ways to help ourselves and help our neighbors. Please join us!”

According to the recent official flyer of NAVA the board members include, Joseph Garcia (Ohkay Owingeh), Ozawa Bineshi Albert (Yucci') & Amber Carrillo (Laguna).
