If you are a fan of NASCAR, you probably saw the huge crash at the Nationwide Series today as it aired on television. On Feb. 23, LA Times reported that Kyle Larson's car ended up in the stands or at least parts of it did.
NASCAR President Mike Helton has said that fans were injured, but has not announced an amount and this story is still coming out. His engine and one tire flew off the car. The engine even flew up high and hit the fence tearing up part of it. Check out this video of the crash.
Kyle Larson is very lucky that he was able to walk away from his car or at least what was left of it. He only had half of a car to get out of, but he was uninjured and doing just fine. This was his first Nationwide Series to ever race in.
Tony Stewart ended up winning the race today. More information will be coming out on the crash and the injuries in the stands.
