National Theatre Live is the National Theatre’s groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theatre live from the London stage to cinemas across the UK and around the world.
Broadcasts of live theater are quite rare. The recent successful live broadcast of the Sound of Music on NBC was the first national broadcast of a live play in 50 years. These private showings of London’s most renowned theatrical events come courtesy of National Theatre Live, who has professionally filmed more than 20 live plays for viewing in select international venues. Temple Menorah is proud to be one of these venues.
