National Press Largely Overlooks the Day of Resistance
As of the writing of this article, little National media attention has been noted regarding the ‘Day of Resistance’ rallies across this Country. Two exceptions, however, are the networks normally associated with the left. Both the BBC and MSNBC provided coverage. Most notably missing is the ‘Fair and Balanced’ Fox News that normally champions the right. Perhaps, Karl Rove and the Republican establishment now give the marching orders for the network.
A search on the Internet reveals that numerous rallies occurred across the country and that many were well attended according to the photographs posted. “The marginalizing on the Tea Party movement by the Republican elitists cost them the election in 2012. This continued approach will cost the Republican Party their very existence,” according to the Town Criers. The Town Criers spokesman continued, “Obama’s assault on our Constitution, with no reaction from the Republicans, only demonstrates that there is very little difference between the two parties. Both parties offer no solution to the economic crisis.”
The Town Criers are a committee of the Saint Augustine Tea Party. This committee engages the public on a weekly basis in the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida calling the American public back to Constitutional Governance.
