National Park Service concessions board plans public meeting (Video)

The Concessions Management Advisory Board of the National Park Service (NPS) plans to meet on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The meeting takes place at the Four Points by Sheraton, 1201 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20005, beginning at 9 a.m.

The public is welcome to attend and address the board. People can speak for up to three minutes. Those wishing to address the board are asked to sign up at least a week in advance. Anyone can also submit written statements.

Space in the meeting room is limited and people will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

General Commercial Services Program Updates
Concession Contracting Status Update
Standards, Evaluations, and Rate Approval Project Update
Simplifying Contract Management and the Proposal Process
Incentive Programs for Concessioners
And Innovative Visitor Services

The four-member board advises NPS on managing park concessions.
Minutes of the meeting will be available about six weeks later.
