During the year 2014, The U.S. National Park Service announces that park visitors will have free admission on selected holidays. Entrance fees can range anywhere from $3 to $25 normally, while some places such as National Monuments may not charge any entrance fee. Regardless, all America's national parks entrance fees are waived on the following days:

  • January 20
    Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 15-17
    Presidents Day weekend
  • April 19-20
    opening weekend of National Park Week
  • August 25
    National Park Service Birthday
  • September 27
    National Public Lands Day
  • November 11
    Veterans Day
