Tomorrow is National Pancake Day 2014. If you are a lover of pancakes then tomorrow you need to make extra time to head to your local IHOP restaurant and get your fill of free pancakes, yes - free pancakes!

According to an IBTimes report on March 3, customers who visit any participating IHOP locations nationwide on March 4 will be given a free stack of buttermilk pancakes. Yes, it is that simple. No strings attached, just free pancakes to everyone who shows up between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The best part about you showing up to eat free hotcakes is that it helps raise money for charity.

While all customers are guaranteed a free stack of buttermilk hotcakes just for entering the door, IHOP will be accepting voluntary donations for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, among other local charities. IHOP has been holding this event since 2006 and so far it has been a success.

"Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised $13 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate. On March 4, 2014, guests from around the country will once again celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals."

Now before you think "how are the pancakes free if IHOP is asking for a donation?"

First off donating a few dollars for a stack of hotcakes is well worth it, plus you will be helping out the Children's Miracle Network. However the best part is IHOP will give all guests who make a donation a $5 off coupon good for their next visit.

So it really is a "win, win" situation.
