March 4, 2014, is National Pancake Day which means free pancakes across the U.S.A!
National Pancake Day 2014
IHOP restaurants will be servin' up free Buttermilk pancakes hot off the griddle in honor of the occasion. Limit one freebie per guest (which includes three buttermilk pancakes) at participating locations - while supplies last.
National Pancake Day has raised $13 million for various charities since the event launched in 2006. In exchange for the free short stacks, the restaurant chain is asking patrons to leave a small donation for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other local charities in an effort to reach the 2014 goal of $3 million. Last year, IHOP served up 4.5 million free short stacks and guests donated almost $3million to charities.
