National Mulled Wine Day: 11 mulled wine recipes to warm your soul

Despite the famous groundhog's annual prediction, cold weather still prevails for most of the country. If you need a little something to warm you up on a chilly winter's day, how does cozying up with a delicious cup of mulled wine sound right about now? March 3 is National Mulled Wine Day, an annual food holiday that celebrates mulled wine.

Enjoyed for centuries throughout Europe, mulled wine is typically made with red wine, infused with a variety of aromatic spices and served nice and warm. Mulled cider or wassail is an alcohol-free version.
