National Mojito Day!

With Summer officially here, there is no better way to kickstart this weekend than by celebrating National Mojito Day on Friday, July 11, with the Cruzan Peach Dream Mojito. While a traditional mojito is made with white rum, sugar, lime and fresh mint crushed into a glass, the Cruzan Peach Dream Mojito modernizes this recipe with juicy Cruzan Peach Rum, lavender bitters and honey syrup. It's a luxe take on a classic cocktail, and is sure to be a refreshing addition to any National Mojito Day plans.

Cruzan Rum is a brand based on the island of St. Croix, one of the Virgin Islands, at a distillery that was established in 1760. Their rum is distilled in a fashion similar to Cuban rum, and they offer a variety of flavors, such as Coconut, Key Lime, Banana, Black Cherry, Mango, and the star of the recipe, Peach. Their facility offers tours of the facility for $5, and allows you to sample all their flavor varieties at the end of their tour.
