Furry Friends is hosting an adoption fair on Saturday, May 31 with National Mill Dog Rescue. The adoption fair will run from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The boutique's northern location recently had its grand opening, and this is a great chance to stop by and check out the new store as well as meet some terrific adoptable dogs.

You can submit an adoption application ahead of time online at http://milldogrescue.org/our-dogs/adopt/ to start the process, even before you visit the adoption fair! NMDR has a home study process which does take a few days before you will be able to adopt, but you are welcome to come out to the fair to meet a few representatives of the many dogs available for adoption. The slideshow accompanying this article shows some previously adopted NMDR dogs, but you can view all the available dogs on the website.

The new store is located at 3586C Hartsel Dr. in Colorado Springs, in the King Soopers shopping center at the corner of Woodmen and Rangewood. Furry Friends is holding a sidewalk sale in conjunction with the adoption fair, so come on by and pick up the supplies as you find a new forever friend!
