Nominated for five 2011 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, three South Florida Gospel Music Awards and two 2012 Stellar Awards, national gospel recording artist Tanya Dallas-Lewis has made the gospel music industry take notice with the release of her debut project, Miracles.
KingdomGate Music Group recently released Lewis' latest single, “Intimate with You,” a song written and produced by Maharold Peoples Jr. and accompanied by world-renowned pianist Vahagn Stepanyan. This love ballad to the Lord displays Tanya at her best and samples from the gospel classic “Draw Me Nearer.”
The release of Lewis’ single comes on the heels of the success of her debut single “Faults” written and produced by Stellar Award winner Isaiah D. Thomas featuring Japhia Life. “Faults” charted in the top one hundred on all three gospel music charts; as well as her second release “When he Calls Your Name,” produced by master musician PJ Morgan.
Tanya Dallas-Lewis has appeared on three gospel compilation CD’s, and has sung for the U.S. Army, BET, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the National Negro Council of Black Women and The Black Women’s Summit. She recently appeared on BET Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel and Dr. Bobby Jones Visions on the Word Network. Amid a very successful career as an on-air personality and radio host, Tanya works in the music ministry at her church as a worship leader, a youth choir director, and a youth leader.
