Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is near the top of the list for this girl gamer! It is not a game that can be played quickly. It is a game that must be lived in, explored, and experienced. The open world, action RPG is a huge undertaking for the casual gamer but the fun is in the playing!
Skyrim brings dragons to life; an infinite number of dragons will be generated for battle or conversation. Just be careful which one you choose to approach for a tete-a-tete. You will fight brigands, talk to nobility, battle the undead, and search for treasure. One of the best games of the year hands down!
Each game has its own unique style of combat but with Skyrim the combat and style of play is determined by you. A more fluid and natural development of your character is achieved by deciding skills (in magic, combat, and stealth). You are not limited by class, only by training, on the type of avatar you produce. A natural fusion of gamer and avatar...nice! Develop as a stealthy, pick pocketing magic user or a bold thief. Train, develop, explore!
