February 23, 2012 -- The National Enquirer has published a photo of Whitney Houston dead in her casket. Fans were outraged when they learned the photo, which was taken at a private viewing for family, and close friends, was plastered on the cover of the tabloid.
According to the National Enquirer, Whitney Houston was buried in $500,000 worth of jewelry, her favorite purple dress, and gold slippers. However, the public is now wondering, who took the picture? Reports by The Improper blog, question whether or not Bobby Brown sister's leaked the disturbing photo.
The tabloid is known for publishing photos of dead celebrities. In 1977 the infamously revealed a photo of dead Elvis in his coffin. However, rumors then followed that the King of Rock and Roll faked his death.
