Yum! What better way to celebrate National Chocolate Day (October 28) than a big batch of homemade brownies? It may be cold outside but crank up that oven, grab the kids and get cooking. These Easy brownies are made in one bowl. Just toss in the ingredients, beat well and bake.

National Chocolate Day Brownie Ingredients:

½ cup real butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup cocoa powder
½ cup white flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup walnuts (optional)

Stir it up, beat it up and throw it all in a greased eight inch square pan. Toss it into a 350 degree oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool and scarf them down.

Happy National Chocolate Day!
