National Car Rental and the PGA have announced a bold series of Pro Ams that will criss-cross the country in 2014 and offer golfers a chance to play in a first class event while promoting golf at the local level.

PGA Tour star Keegan Bradley, the winner of the 2011 PGA Championship, along with his father, PGA Professional Mark Bradley, will serve as the ambassadors for the Series. The duo will also promote the National “Go Like A Pro” mobile experience, which is a modern and customized, golf-themed tour bus that will travel to events throughout the Nationwide ProAm Series.

"Every PGA section in the United States has pro-ams, but instead of adding to an already full schedule of events, National will come in and do the marketing, and possibly have the bus come by with all the high tech equipment," explained Mark Bradley at Demo Day during the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show. "As a club professional, if someone like National Car Rental comes in, and it doesn't cost me any more money- it's a win-win."

This is all about fostering the PGA’s mission to grow interest and participation in the game of golf at local levels. The National Car Rental ProAm Series will link 82 new and current amateur tournaments across the 41 PGA of America Sections. The series will run February through October, and one of the 82 winning teams will be selected to enjoy a VIP golf experience with Keegan and Mark Bradley.

This series is a natural extension of National's longstanding relationship with golf and the PGA.

“Many of our business travel customers have a passion for the game of golf, so we wanted to create a tournament series that would draw excitement and participation nationwide among amateur golfers at the local level,” states Rob Connors, assistant vice president of brand marketing, National Car Rental.

The traveling tour bus that will be onsite at some of the events adds another wrinkle that has never been seen at pro-am events in the technology contained on the bus.

Managed by IMG Live, the traveling tour bus will showcase state-of-the-art Trackman swing analysis, giving pro-am players an opportunity to see how their swing compares with Keegan’s, some of the golf industry’s newest demo clubs, a handy club re-regripping service, and a Keegan Bradley replica golf bag.

National is once again the Official Rental Car of the PGA Championship and the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, and an Official Partner of the 2014 Ryder Cup. Additionally, National is also the title sponsor of the National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship.

Keegan Bradley is currently ranked 23rd in the official World Golf Ranking, while Mark is the PGA director of instruction at Jackson Hole (Wyo.) Golf and Tennis Club.
